Foodbank this morning was just incredibly busy. We had our delivery from the hub first thing, with so much food we weren’t sure where to put it, but once the clients started we realised why we needed so much! We believe the Lord is always 3 steps ahead of us. By the end of the morning our shelves looked pretty lean - should just have enough for next Tuesday. We delivered to one family on our way home - another incredibly sad story but the client was so appreciative and grateful - makes it all worth doing when you see the relief on someone’s face when they know their children won’t go to bed hungry. Such a sad state for our country to be in and I can’t see it getting much better quickly.
A visit to Abbotsbury gardens this afternoon to calm the mind.
