Criss Cross

This installation has appeared in the Briggait. There is no information about the artist but I really like it. I like the cleanness of the lines, its solidity, its newness and the perspective as you look within. I like it head on when you enter the building but this made a more interesting blip.

It reminds me of a windy and wet day along the Clyde taking down and stacking heras fencing. Reversing my car up the quayside with over 100kg of weights in the boot and no specs on because they kept on steaming up.

Better than that though it reminds of lots of beautiful crocheted flowers made by nearby elderly residents that were attached to the fencing to form a beautiful piece of art.
