Remembrance Daffodils

These are some of the daffodils that were planted in memory of my Dad.

Some lovely old ladies living in our building at the time, did it without telling us and it was a lovely surprise when they appeared the following spring. The ladies themselves are now no longer with us.... so when the daffs appear we are reminded of their affection and kindness as well.

On a day when we remembered C, who died last week, it seemed right for todays blip to be these daffodils - even though there are only a few of them out at the moment.
