Stockbrige chimney pots
After going to bed late last night it was a surprise to open the blinds after only 5 hours of a night to see a covering of snow in the garden. Well I guess it's par for the course at the moment, who am I kidding!
We said goodbye to the grandfather of my two closest friends this afternoon.
There were quite a few tears but also some smiles and some lovely music and it was a wonderful service and a fitting send off. What more could one hope for at the end.
Had an appointment in the evening. so to pass the time until I was due there I decided to have a wander round some shops (as is my usual want ha ha) Driving down through stockbridge to the shopping centre I was struck by the striking appearance of some rows of chimney pots in the late afternoon sun (yes SUN !!!! - I know it's hard to believe)
so I thought i'd catch them in a blip.
Must try and get an early night tonight. I've been saying that for days now and it doesn't seem to have happened yet but tonight has got to be the night.
