The ants and the grasshopper

There's an online filmfestival for a week. The HER festival. Organised by an organisation that helps girls and women worldwide. Yesterday I saw Honeyland, a beautiful documentary film about a female bee keeper in Macedonia. She was one with the bees and nature. And tended after her old mother. They lived in solitude but harmony until a rowdy family came living next door.

Today I saw The Ants and the Grasshopper. Another interesting documentary about how climate change has a direct impact on the lives of people in Malawi, when they experience long periods of draught. Two women travel to the USA and visit a variety of farmers and engage in a discussion on how to reverse climate change.

Tomorrow I'm out, Sunday I'll see another film or documentary.
