For Dad

It's 12 years ago since our dad passed away.  Here he is in the middle of this photo at his retirement party. He worked for 50 years on 'the buses'. - W. Alexanders and Sons. Not many folk these days have that kind of work record. His last position was Chief Inspector for Fife and he was known and respected for his fairness and for being a 'proper gentleman'. On the day of his funeral, so many colleagues were there that someone was heard to comment, 'It' s a surprise any buses are running in Fife today'.

He lives on in our hearts and never a day passes when I don't think of him.
