What A Vandal

There was some lovely light hitting the Leaves of the Hop  so I was forced to go out into the cold (there was actual ice on the car).
When I came back in I noticed this chap checking out the bird boxes.
However, he was a bit big to get in .... so he started pecking away at the sides of the hole to enlarge it.
He did try getting in but it was like a fat cat trying to get through a small cat flap and he got stuck halfway through. He managed to get while the damned steam from the heating vent prevented a useable picture.
Finally he thought he would have a look at the other box - with a slightly bigger hole - but decided that was too small too.
I feel that I need to find some suitable wood to make another box.
