Fly acaric fungi ( lucky mushroom)
Found this beaut on the walk home. It was in the church yard. Never , ever seen one! It was so pretty and the kids were pretty amazed. I'm glad I spotted it whilst walking by. Known in German as glücklicher pilz or gluckspilz (which literally means “lucky mushroom”), the red-and-white speckled fungi grow deep in the forest. Its real name is Amanita muscaria or fly agaric, and finding one is thought to be a sign of good luck, similar to the way the Irish view four-leaf clovers.23 Nov 2020
We've had a lovely chippy tea. I had chicken , chips and gravy. Vienna had steak and rice , Rio , sausage and chips. Quick dash now to swimming and hopefully, a relax ( who am I kidding? )
