Re-bloom

The lavender is having a complete second blooming.  I have never known this to happen before with any lavender - usually it’s just a few flowers here and there…

This morning involved lots of phone calls.  The first was a friend, the second the solicitor to tell me that probate has gone through so the house conveyancing can get underway, and the third our plumber who was bringing us up-to-date on a couple more things that need doing - a new fuse board, and extra boarding for the shower room.  The work on the shower has ruined the old tiles on the walls, so he has suggested boarding the whole room.  We felt it was worth the extra money.  Also, I got the quote from the removal company which I have accepted.  Suddenly everything is happening!  Hopefully the new flooring is being put in next week too.

Very relieved all seems to be going ahead satisfactorily.
