In early today by virtue of the lift-sharing arrangement. There was quite a selection of birdlife around the pond when we arrived: swans, gulls, moorhens, wagtails, and the resident mallards. Pretty much all out of range, and most out of sight within seconds.

Cold and grey again.

Must take the longer lens tomorrow.
