Moor and Shore
Our last day today, and possibly the poorest weather, or maybe we chose a poor route for our walk, We took a bus along the coast then walked back along the dyke - it was windy and exposed, with no respite. Too blustery for little birds to be perching, so mainly ducks, geese and waders. Mr PB saw a Great Egret, but I managed to miss it.
Curlews are my favourite waders and breed in the fields around us at home, so it's nice to see them in their winter quarters on the marshes.
