Day 287/21. A new resident.

This little chap seems to have taken up residence in our back garden. We have seen him/her a few times in the past week. This afternoon he ventured out onto our lawn long enough for me to take a decent picture.
I guess it is probably foraging for food and stocking up the fat ready for hibernation.
From it's size, I think this must be a youngster, perhaps this year. It certainly looks very healthy and alert. Great to see them.
