A golden carpet of Birch leaves.

The Feast Day of Saint Selevan and St. Callistus.
So far, the morning is damp and overcast, breezy, 11c outdoors and in spite of that, I bought our paper and went for a long circular walk hopeful of finding something to blip.
My focus on beauty is mainly to highlight Nature, so the colourful Autumn leaves, attractive as they are on such a bleak day, drew my attention. There were a few dog walkers about and a Mum and daughter running to reach school on time. The Church bells are ringing out a pleasant peal. I clocked up 11000 steps yesterday but put on a pound. Weight gain is a mystery!
