Derwentwater

We started with a walk through Manesty Woods, which were beautiful with the autumn colours. It has been a very overcast day but at least we've stayed dry. We then spent a long time around Abbots bay playing with long exposures and multi shots ... more learning about how to use this camera! Towards the end of the afternoon we walked through Manesty Park to this secluded bay at the end of the lake. 

These are long days as we're out about 30 - 40 minutes earlier than we used to be and we're still getting home with only about an hour an a half to shower and sort photos before a walk to the village pub for dinner. Another interesting evening of reviewing photos. 

It's been a fabulous day with a lot of friendship and laughter.
