in the high country

i woke up to cold - a reminder that autumn - has truly arrived - the season has changed - and it was time again - for a hop into - my car to go for - another random drive - just see where those - wheels would take me - so i got dressed warmly - backed out of the garage - and was off believing i - would most likely be - headed into a bit of - high country but not too - far because i wasn’t - feeling up to par

i really didn’t have to go - as far as i figured - before i was engulfed - by fabulous trees - and wonderful scenery and a landscape of white - wait a minute - white?? - that’s right, i ran into snow capped mountains - in the distance - which, when you use the right lens - appear as though - they’re right in front of you - so lovely from - freshly fallen snow - and more to come in - lower elevations later this week - all in all it made for..
