Autumn colour

This is Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire. Often when I go to places like this people say "you should have been here last week" or "it really needs another week", but I think I hit the sweet spot this time. The autumn colours are superb, even in the flat light of a cloudy day like today. Acer Glade in particular has some wonderful examples of maples across the range from yellows through oranges to flame reds. The extra is a detail from a Japanese Maple.
