Under A Chestnut Canopy

I intended to work from home today but shortly before lunch I'd completed the majority of work and needed to do some printing, so I headed into the office.

On the way home I was looking for the possibility of an image for today's blip and was chuffed to see this horse chestnut had coloured up in recent days.  When driving towards the tree it is directly in line with a straight stretch of the road, so you can see it from almost a mile away.  I could have gone for the long shot but preferred this wide angle from underneath its canopy.
