Snow on the Sun

Although it was nice and sunny when I took the photo, with no snow at ground level, it was obviously snowing hard on our nearest stellar neighbour! Over the last two days it has snowed for most of the time, often blizzarding (if there is such a word) yet the lying snow has now cleared completely, even though as I type it is still coming down, how weird is that!!!
