Moisés showed us around his family coffee finca, where they grow certified Café de Marcala DOP.
Yet another demonstration of Honduras ospitality: the whole family gave up their Sunday plans to share their daily life with us... as well as a cup of coffee, of course.
Honduran cafeteros, who are generally small family-run business, are seriously threaten by climate change. It is estimated that in 50 years time, Honduras won't be able to produce any more coffee, its N. 1 export commodity, due to increasing temperatures.
