It's Hull Fair time again!

70 years ago this was my favourite ride, I loved to climb the stairs and sit in one of the rocket ships and enjoy looking out over the fair as it sped round.
I wonder how old that ride is? it certainly wasn't new when I enjoyed it.
Covid closed the fair last year for the first time in 500 plus years, but it's certainly jam packed  with people now!
