Lisboa

Early start from Heathrow this morning to get to Lisbon. Treated ourselves to the lounge so we could relax before the flight.

We arrived into Lisbon city centre around lunchtime to blue skys and 27 degrees it was lovely. We braved the metro to get to the hotel and it was really easy and very cheap.

The hotel we are staying in is beautiful, right in the heart of the old town with tiled buildings cobbled streets and trams. We even got an upgrade because it’s our mini moon plus some sparkling wine and cheese and meats.

We had a wonder around and then tonight we have eaten the most amazing meal ever, it came recommended and did not disappoint. We had spider crab and mussels, the crab was the most amazing thing I think I’ve ever tasted. After dinner we found a little square with a few bars and drank sangria listening to a little old Portuguese man play his guitar.
