Not ventured out today, so I present a shot taken from my bedroom window, looking South-West.
Snow is still clinging to the rooftops, and to Barr Beacon, the high ground on the horizon.
Home to a war memorial that is just nearing the completion of its renovation after being robbed of its roof by mindless thieves / vandals, Barr Beacon stands 774 feet above sea level, and can be seen from most parts of Walsall. On a clear day 11 counties can be seen from the summit,
