Sandbach!
Had such a lovely day. Met up with another friend who lives in the same area. We all used to work at the Brentwood Centre together. They live in such a pretty area. Some parts are very old. My friend lives almost next to this church. Opposite is a huge very old hall which is meant to be haunted. Had a look around the little village. Lots of lovely little individual shops. There was a wonderful delicatessens that sold an amazing range of cheese and hams etc. We went for a coffee and something to eat in nice little cafe and met some of my friends cycling group. Lovely ladies. There was a great character among them who road a fold up bike and has cycled thousands of miles on it. She is quite elderly and stick thin. Quite often she takes a tent with her and just camps up and stays wherever she may find herself for a few days....how lovely. Another of the ladies has offered for me to stay with her as well when I next go up. What lovely people. I have had a wonderful time and its been well worth the 500 miles I have driven over the past two days.....I've got a very numb bum now though!
