Reunion

The weather today was a bit dreich with mist on the hills all day and drizzle on and off at street level. However, it was a very happy day as my cousin took a bus from Edinburgh down to the Borders and we met up for the first time in 2.5 years. We never stopped chatting from the time she arrived until she caught the bus back home late in the afternoon. Of course she fell in love with Bertie. I am also very pleased to report that the fisherman caught a good sized salmon and although all salmon have to be returned to the river to conserve stocks, he was very happy.
