Bamburgh Castle

We woke up to rain, which made our trip to Portabella very wet. Luckily by the time we had traveled to Berwick it was dry and blue skies. 
I’ve wanted to visit Bamburgh Castle for ages and it didn’t disappoint. We had lovely long walk along the never ending beach before going to the village itself where I had ice cream. We traveled through Seahouses but didn’t stop. We also went to Lindisfarne but didn’t stay long. We were worried about the incoming tide !, Stayed over in Lucker. Had a lovely meal……and Wine.
