Farewell

Another early day (lashed by rain on a dreich walk to work) and packed with meetings but I was pleased to tick off a number of jobs on my to do list in between, including finally tying off the loose ends of a recent series of appointments.
Our big planning meeting this afternoon went well in its new format and even finished a bit early giving me a moment to breathe before the next in the lecture series followed by a farewell dinner for two of our group who are heading for pastures new soon. Very jolly evening and lovely to be together socially for the first time in so long.
Once again only time for a brief chat to A&N before bed. She’s definitely on the mend now, and after her training and exam sessions yesterday and today she’s back to work proper tomorrow….N seems to be coming down with the bug though….
