Spot the owl

Lovely cool day. Swept and spiffed up the front steps, and when friend Laura came over baked some scones and got some writing done. D attended an interest session for a university in DC...I'd love it if he stayed that close to home! We'll see; he's starting to fill out the applications. W is now starting back to a routine of two days per week in the office. He said there were quite a few more people around today than there had been on those days over the past year and a half when he went in occasionally.
