Last Days on the Clyde

After almost a year, the two deep water drilling ships, Valaris DS4 and Ensco DS8, are due to depart Hunterston in the next few weeks.

Both are heading (a month apart) for Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for refit.

PS with the height of the rig superstructure
they must be well ballasted to withstand Atlantic gales. Not for the feint hearted.
