We woke up early today, so a long walk: 86 min, 5.4 km, average speed 4.0 km/h. We found in the way this tree in partial bloom.
Today is a national catholic holiday here, Day of patroness of Brazil, Nossa Senhora Aparecida. There is a city close to São Paulo called Aparecida with a very big basilica where qll Brazilian catholic people go at least once a life. I went there with mom maybe 40 years ago.
EXTRA: today is also the 90th anniversary of Christ the Redmeer, a big statue of Jesus Christ at the top of a hlll in Rio. This is a pic of Christina and I there in 2009;
