Great Gramp's apples to applesauce

We've been having a few connectivity issues, so i will post this as the apples are cooking down into applesauce and return later with the verdict. The enormous Wolf River apples looked nd tasted surprisingly delicious when cut into. The tree is ancient and the apples feral now, but still would make Great Gramp Hanson proud.

The applesauce is especially delicious, lots of history in each spoonful. These apples are enormous, a true fistful. You can see one in my hand in the extra.
