Woman in Glass
I've had this sculpture for about 10 years and apart from admiring it as a wonderful bonding of bronze and glass, I suddenly realised that it represents a female figure. Don't understand why it took so long, as I have two other figurative bronzes by the same sculptor, my good friend Vagif Rakhmanov, who lives in Kazakhstan, but is originally from Azerbaijan.
The depth and shades of purple colour released when back-lit by the sun, are a pleasure to experience.
