Changing colour palette

The colour palette in the 'yard is changing rapidly now, and the two large hostas are leading the way. Their leaves, which were upright and dark green last week, are drooping down as they turn yellow and develop a translucent quality.

Off to the surgery first thing for my flu jab. All very efficient, and they were obviously running to a very tight schedule - in and out in seconds (yes, really), and back home before MrM had realised that I'd left!
Then a day of catching up - three loads of washing done, some cleaning and tidying, a little admin., exercise on the bike, and a chat with Lucy... Where did the day go?
