Hut, Hut, Hut!

After a fairly damp morning the weather improved so we headed off for a late afternoon walk on the beach.  We’ve not been to Wells since much earlier in the year as, during the summer, it’s impossible to get parked unless you are there really early.  But at this time of the year most of the tourists have gone and it is a lovely place to walk.  The tide was out so we walked all the way along the beach to Holkham and back, across the dunes and past the beach huts.  The whole area really reminds me of Cape Cod; the wide sandy beaches, pine woods behind the beach and the painted huts are so reminiscent of a couple of holidays we’ve taken there.
