This could be a security problem . . .
Or just a bit of a leak.
Leek and Potato pie tonight, so something tiny to blip. Just don’t tell everyone. To be honest we have just caught the leeks in time, they had been in the fridge quite a while.
What a day. This morning ground to a start, and I did manage some shopping at the local Coop, finding that masks seem to be a thing of the past - see rant.
This afternoon Health Care at Home managed to deliver Mrs W’s injections that must be kept refrigerated at room temperature. This lead to extensive communications with HCAH, which took up most of the afternoon. Looks like most of the delivery of VERY expensive drugs will go to waste!
All of the above interjected with numerous other complaints, not forgetting Amazon (they are great, but some of there merchants . . .)
After all that I feel like a rant!
On a number of occasions I have ranted about how we are twice as likely to pick up COVID-19 now as this time last year. Today I found the evidence on the Government’s own website. A glance across the graph shows one-and-a-half to twice the reported infection rate this October to last. You can add to that all those that are asymptomatic or just have a mild dose and deliberately don’t report it!
So Mrs W has twice the chance of dying than this time last year - this gets me so annoyed with all these selfish people that do not wear masks in confined places like shops and transport! (And that’s putting it VERY mildly!)
Many thanks to KangaZu for hosting Tiny Tuesday this month.
