Looking down on Grasmere

We walked steeply up for nearly an hour from Chapel Stile, then made our way across Silver How and down into Grasmere.

In the photo you can see Grasmere and Rydal Water as well as lots of Juniper bushes ( used for making gin! ).

The bracken is turning a lovely Autumn colour too!
