Designing Dave

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

I went online to try and find plushies that resemble Dave the Rumblecat and Lemon the Lemonbear from my stories, as presents for Hani and Zay.

It may surprise you to hear that this task was almost IMPOSSIBLE. But I DID find a site that makes bespoke toys from your child's pictures. 

And, as it turns out, Ellie is ITCHING to draw pictures for my stories. I'm all for it. But we then realised we had to talk about what the characters look like. 

I sent Ellie this picture. And told her that this looks a bit like Dave. Only Dave has cat ears and whiskers and a tail. And is not a sloth. 

She is going to work on it for me. 

In other news, Caro returned from Papamoa today. I am so happy. She is right now at the other end of the couch from me, watching her tv shows and being just Caro. 

I am SO happy.
