24th Street east of South Van Ness Avenue is one of my most favourite parts of town. It is the heart of the Latino Cultural District, and many of the businesses there appear to have existed for quite some time. Also... the street is lined with Fycus trees which on some blocks, create a canopy that darkens the street.
