The splendours of autumn

It's been the most beautiful autumn day in Humshaugh. I walked to the doctors' surgery this afternoon when this Virginia creeper caught my eye. So vivid, so resplendent, so autumnal.

I popped into Hexham to Kwitfit this morning. I need new front tyres and I want them on the car before I go on holiday next week. They did not have the ones I need, so I'm booked in for tomorrow morning.

I am reproofing my winter Paramos ready for next week and for walking on Wednesdays. My warmer tops are hanging up and need ironing before I wear them. The seasons are inexorably rolling on.

Tonight it is the Tynedale Photo Group. I'm on teas with Lesley C. It's a Travel Photo evening so we will be transported to many other places.
