FreePrints and freebooks
Darren takes a lot of photos of me as you’ll know if you follow me on blip. But he doesn’t find viewing photos on a screen to be the best experience, Darren likes prints or anything that can be held, like a book or a calendar.
In the photo you can see a small photobook, it as 20 photos of me in it, it was technically free, though postage and packing was £4.50, something like that anyway, the prints were also free, he got 45, all 6/4 in size, again technically free, postage and packing was £3.99.
He got them printed using the FreePrints app you can download on to your phone, it’s so easy to use and organise the prints you want, the freebook app is equally easy to use and Darren was pretty impressed with the quality.
He will definitely order another 45 free prints this month ( you can order 45 free prints every month) and will order another book, though the book will be a softcover as you only seem to get the hardcover as freebook on the first one you get. I’m sure once he gets the softcover book he will let you know the quality of that too.
The frame cost about £3.50 from home bargains and Darren thinks the photos look really good in the frame.
So if you have a lot of photos on your phone ( they don’t have to be phone photos, any photo you have transferred to phone will work too) then try out the apps, it’s nice to see and feel real prints and maybe you could display a few on a wall for everyone to see :-)
