Violin chin rest invention

Great monomonday challenges this month! Louis Sphor invented the chin rest for the violin around 1820 which ensured that the violin was more comfortable for the player.
Alan and I have rediscovered the fiddle and whistle and are scrubbing up on our tunes. Great to hear him play it again.
