Popped down and saw the parents today. Took them some supplies and the better half cooked for us all, had pie. Also popping down was my niece Hannah and husband James. All had a very pleasant time catching up.  We all eventually left, leaving the parents in peace, as the rains began to fall again. Eventually home. Feeling destructive, I took out the hedge trimmer and attacked the hedge, satisfied that its pre-winter trim was almost complete. Almost.
