Dalt Vila by night

We've had such a lovely day with Neil and Brenda. The kids have absolutely loved seeing them, as have we! Danny took them and the kids off for a walk and to a local village. I took the time to shop and cook lunch. Ricky asked for some lunch so he came with me to the supermarket to choose himself some bits, and 'for the company' he said. It was good to see him and natter - his miracle housing situation turned out to be more of a nightmare, so he's back in his tent, but he's happy about it. 
This afternoon Asha and Brenda got creative. Brenda ordered a few pairs of earrings to be made for some of her friends, so Asha spent the next few hours creating. A good rainy afternoon activity. 
Tonight we went for ice cream and then walked around the port in time to catch the sunset from this side of town. The bar was packed but we were fortunate enough to get a sofa right on the water's edge. After a relaxed drink we caught the boat back across the harbour and came back for a simple tea accompanied by a delicious Alentejo red. A good day.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Neil and Brenda coming all this way. 
2) Ricardo feeling ok despite the house situation folding.
3) Beautiful colours and shapes in the sky tonight!
