Arches

This bridge is built towards the end of the 18th century in, what is called an "ancient technique". It's on the east side of Öland, in a place called "Frösslunda".  The letter 'ö' is pronounced somewhat like a mixture between 'o' and 'e'. Say the letter o, thinking of the letter e. In the old days, the o had a small e written above it, to give a hint of what it sounded like. Later, the e was replaced by the two dots. 

My visitor left for home this afternoon. We've had a lovely two days with delicious food, good conversation and a really great play last Friday.
