rainy days

As it was a rainy day, we popped off to the local 4 star hotel in the area for a poke about & a drink. It's funny how surprises come from teh least likely places - we weren't expecting much, just somewhere to kill an hour or so really - but we had a lovely afternoon. There were lots of little brave birds who kept flapping around and pecking crumbs off tables and Arlo just loved them.

He got so excited as they darted about. I coaxed a couple a bit closer by crumbling up one of Arlo's biscuits and the little things hopped onto the table for a peck peck peck before Arlo's cries of 'GLUCK GLUCK' chased them off.

Every time we said 'tweet tweet' he responded with 'gluck gluck'. His full repertoire is now:

Dak Dak - Quack Quack
Mmmm - Moo
Raaa - Roar
Uh-Uh - woof woof
Uh-Uh - ooh ooh (monkey - yep its the same as the dog)
