Leaping for Lunch

There are, of course, many ways in which to catch insects. Many birds choose to fly around catching them in a clever yet casual swoop. Others, well, as the wagtail on the left could be saying, "you might as well use a net, mate!" Leaping about in hope of a catch? That's going to get a wag of the tail finger.

Gosh, isn't it balmy? Almost mid-October and really you could be forgiven for wearing shorts and t-shirt... Climate change can go in many directions, and currently the jet stream is carrying warm air up over us from the equator. I'm not looking forward to the other kind...
