our house

in the middle of our street? Not quite - in the middle of glorious, luscious, rolling mountains all rolling towards a crystal lake that changes colour every time you look up at it, like a vast moon stone.

As much as the view was all of the cliched words you could throw at it - "Stunning", "Breath-taking", "Awesome" - there was also something really comforting about it. It wasn't a huge stretch of the imagination to picture one of our beloved camping trips to Loch Tummel or Loch Carron, even though we were high up in the Andalucian mountains.

I once (HILARIOUSLY, I think you'll agree) declared as we drove past Loch Awe "Aye, it's true what they say - you've seen one loch you've seen them Awe" (space to groan here...), it is kind of true. I felt so much joy, so much comfort and so, so lucky for having the fortune to look upon it every day.
