Saturday Night

Was a friend's 50th birthday in our old flat. The friends who live there have much better interior design skills than us and have made the flat lovely, including this wee outdoor courtyard. It is south facing and a wee sun trap and I have beautiful memories of becoming a mum here. My daughter lived the first 10 months of her life in this house. The lounge is a gorgeous sunny space too. I miss that room but am glad we moved to Porty when we did. Facebook memories told me it was Oct 2010 we were building our extension to get our big, bright, sunny, sociable room. We got what we wanted but I would like our lounge to be more cosy and snuggly.
