Still Life

These exquisite magnolia petals feel like they're made of fine leather. I brought home a handful from my walk and played with them for awhile on the big wooden table, just enjoying their texture and beautiful markings. Taking a photo was an afterthought, but made me realize I need to learn more about lighting.
