First day camping at Fort Stevens State Park....

We arrived early afternoon, met Poppy, set up camp, and had plenty of time for the kids and me to take a bike ride (I ran) to the beach.

What ideal weather. And the tide was plenty low enough that we could go out quite far. And bonus, the Peter Iredale shipwreck was all above water and the best playground for the kids.

A fantastic first day.
