Craziness

Behold the line of faithful followers at Red's Eats -- a famous lobster shack in Wiscasset, Maine.  Hungry fans start to queue up at least an hour before Red's even opens up, and they don't stop queuing until closing time.  You can't see it from here, but the line extends off to the right of this image, all the way down to the end of the next block!  All this waiting will eventually score you a lobster roll currently exorbitantly priced at a whopping $36.00 (that's just over￡26!)

In the fifty years that I've been coming to this part of Maine, I have never once been tempted to either stand in such an interminable line, or shell out that kind of money for a bit of lobster salad in a hot dog bun.  Clearly I am in the minority!
